All the hate for the console versions is 100 percent justified. This is what happens when you make a game designed for a high end PC for console.

I do think it’s unfair that CD Projekt Red had to live to some unrealistic standard, but they have been acting like a scummy AAA publisher as of late. They got too big for their own good. This game should not have been released on console. It’s a joke.

It should've never been released on last gen consoles, this is the worst launch of all time considering the hype the game had. They played damage control by only sending out PC copies to reviewers and banning in game footage being used to stop people cancelling their pre-orders. You're 100% right they've totally acted like a AAA publisher.

Or atleast waited for a ps5 release on later date. Ps5 has the capacity to make a good game out of it.

It remains to be seen but I agree that current gen are the best bet to run it. As I said in an earlier post, they spent years trying to play catch up and make it play on the last gen consoles. It’s maybe a bit unfair to say they should have scrapped it altogether, but there is no way they should have released it on console in its current state. It is very good on PC to be fair to them.

And I just right now at part where Jackie dies. So there’s no cutscenes in this thing? The promo has a deadly cutscenes and one where Jackie dies but this is all in first person.

I've been playing Cyberpunk almost non stop on pc. Getting 90-100 FPS on average, minimal bugs and I'm absolutely loving it 25-30 hours in.

I 100% knew the vocal minority would scream hate about it, and obviously there are a few issues (though frankly I couldn't care less about last gen console performance) but it's a really fun action RPG for me.

I knew I'd enjoy it though. It's basically the game I've wanted side I was 12.

What else are you running (proc/gfx)...may fork out for but likely not, what with all the shenanigans.

Zezti it’s like one of the the first promo trailers they played years ago it’s just common knowledge that’s what happens at start of game.

Same for me. Been playing on the PC and having a blast with only a couple of minor bugs - certainly nothing gamebreaking.
That doesn't excuse the console ports though.

Mad thing is that it's a no win situation for CDPR due to how horrendously entitled some of the gaming community are. If they delayed yet again people would moan. They release a game that's still got major issues on console, people still moan.

Even with no bugs and high frames etc the game is very lacking as an open world IMO. Npcs are dreadful they just stand around and yell out random things from time to time. The AI is bad especially them driving. A lot of other substantial stuff that the Witcher got right six years ago that this doesn’t have.

I'm not seeing it. I have struggled to play more than a couple of hours as it is just boring. I can ignore the bugs as they will be sorted, but the actual game world feels dead. The combat and the driving are just abysmal. I've not seen anything ground breaking or exciting.
