Computer games.

...or scanning the rooftops for Raiders when you're walking past tall buildings, or seeing superglue in a shop and thinking,'Oh, I need that...' lol

At the risk of going off-topic (sorry) if you've never seen the TV Series 'Dark', give it a go. The second series shares a strong aesthetic, well, enough to give you deja vu.
Like an idiot I showed the game to my missus. She plays it every evening and it's a job to wrestle the controller from her now. Only yesterday she was engaged in a life or death struggle with supermutants (or rs as I call them) when she desperately ran into a shed for cover while tending to her 5% health and shouted 'Ooh wonder glue brilliant!'

It’s what they deserve. Hiding the footage from people knowing they where selling a bad product. Even the adds with pc footage had loads of cutscenes that are not in the game. Cause there like no cutscenes in the game
I just feel a bit sorry for their staff. They’ll have been working stupid hours on what would have felt like a never ending ‘crunch’. They’ve probably all be back in doing silly hours again to try and put the mess right.

So I just got a Nintendo Switch as part of my mobile phone contract.

Thing is I have not had a Nintendo device since the original DS so have lost track of things.

Big fan of JRPGs and I know there are a bunch of them on it so does anyone have any recommendations for games I should look at getting? Doesn't have to be JRPGS though.
2 favorite switch games were Xenoblade 2 and Torna DLC. But its not for everyone, as its 120hrs and more exploration/story focused in the 1st half while the 2nd half the battle system really opens up but its still great.

you could actually play Torna 1st (prequel) its only 30 hours long, and the battle system was changed so its less DLC and more a standalone game if you want to give it a try.

Fire Emblem is excellent. You can play as an anime fascist, an anime thug cop or a bunch of people who while don't believe commoners should be murdered would never let that filth anywhere near their Gatsby parties.

My missus is obsessed with Skyrim - She doesn't play anything else, she'll just periodically dig it out and start another playthrough.

Think she's completed it about 6 or 7 times now

Not surprised about the Cyberpunk situation, when there is complete silence regarding the PS4/X1 versions before release, something isn’t right. A lot of these companies take peoples purchases for granted and given how many put them on a pedestal , it’s inevitable it goes too far. I wish some gamers would wake up and realise they work for us, our money , not the other way around.

The Xbox Series X back compatibility version I’ve played is solid and looks good however the majority are still on PS4/X1 so it’s very poor of CD Project Red and will no doubt gather a growing feeling of distrust going forward.

Almost as embarrassing as those who are still trying to claim it is an amazing game and that they haven't experienced any issues.

It is just a terrible game that has been massively overhyped.

Yep, that's not a bug - that's how the police have been programmed to work.

It's clear at this point CD Projekt Red didn't know what they were doing. You can see the ambition for sure, but they were incapable of realising their aims.

Which would be fine if they hadn't misled the public on purpose about the product.

I enjoyed it and finished it too. The Watch Dog games have got increasingly better across the 3 which is obviously not always the case with these types of franchises.

But it was very buggy on the PS4. Nothing particularly game breaking but it crashed quite a lot and had to reload some saves on occasion. Also every time I would call the cargo drone it would take a few seconds to render.

Also, while the character changing idea was interesting I very quickly settled into only using 2 as it felt like there was very little point in a lot of them (apart from the odd specific mission obviously).
I did pretty much the same with agents - mainly stuck with the guy with the paintball gun (can't remember his name) and only ever switched if an agent got arrested. I didn't find that I needed too many of the different skills that the various characters had, and I spoke to loads of characters that I didn't bother recruiting as I couldn't be bothered doing their missions. The uniformed ones were quite handy on occasion. I also got loads of cosmetic items I never used, as I thought the King of Hearts mask looked so good so just stuck with that. Will go back to the game before long to find/play the Stormzy mission, though.

Top 10 games of all time. I can’t do a top 5.

Red Dead Redemption 2:
I’ve never played a game with such a captivating story. I’ll admit I struggled to get in to it at first but it really stepped up a level by around the midway point. I just wish they’d add a hardcore/survival mode. There’s so many features in the game which you barely use because it’s not difficult enough. The online is trash, too. Another Undead Nightmare game would suffice

Gran Turismo:
The first Gran Turismo was so far ahead of anything else at the time. It was genuinely ground breaking.

GTA 3:
My all time favourite GTA. I’d played the hell out of GTA 1 & 2 and so when it went 3D it blew my mind. I played it on my phone a few years back and it’s aged surprisingly okay.

The Long Dark:
An incredibly atmospheric hardcore survival sim. It requires a totally different play style to any game I’d played before.

DayZ:
I’d been wanting to play this since 2012 and finally got round to getting it this summer. It’s buggy, although nowhere near as bad as some say, but it’s a game like no other

DiRT 2:
Hardly a rally sim but the most fun racing game I’ve ever played. Also one of the few games I’ve bought twice for different systems.

Streets of Rage:
The game which lit my enthusiasm for co-op games. I still play it occasionally.

Pro Evo 6:
The best football game ever.

Goldeneye:
Groundbreaking at the time, especially split screen multiplayer.

Pokemon Blue:
I’ve never played another Pokemon game but this was a classic. I remember sat on the school bus every day with my link cable transferring various creatures back and forth. Good memories.

Xbox offering refunds to everyone that bought Cyberpunk digitally now too. Doesn't seem as though they are taking it off the store though. Makes sense I guess as it apparently works well on the Series S/X. Might also be because of their relationship with CDPR so as not to completely nuke them.
