Have installed and run around a bit I think, but never really played. Is that the one with the mad slidies?? Is it cross platform?
I like Warzone, what do you mean about being unbalanced?

Yeah you can slide miles downhill. It’s really good you know, definitely worth giving it a spin. Much more going on than WZ with the different Legends and their abilities. Yeah it’s cross platform.

Re: Warzone... at any one time there’s about 5% of the guns that are absolutely MILES ahead of everything else, and 95%+ of players you come across are using them. Nearly all the guns in Apex are viable, and it’s much more dependent on personal preference. Plus the WZ map is pretty poorly designed. It’s visually impressive, but it’s way too built up and just encourages camping, particularly in solos, but other modes too.

Ah, will have to see if I can get my mates to try Apex then.

Bloody hate Campers!! Used to have a mate who was great/terrible for it back on CoD 2, the map with the train sheds, he'd always be up in the eaves/roof sniping us!! I've tried camping a bit in solo WZ, but I find it too boring. The maps so big that often you won't see anyone if you sit in one place. Or maybe I'm just going to the wrong places!! :eek: :eek:

Cheap wifi cards, or wifi integrated in the motherboard is not great. I got this card with an external antenna and its given me absolutely perfect connection, even better than a wired connection to my router.

I’m definitely looking to use an Ethernet cable. There’s 2 rooms separating the router and where the PC will be situated, so I’ll need to get creative. I’ve been watching some YouTube videos for tips. I’ll probably need the WiFi to start me off.

that’s the bit I’m struggling with. But I got so sick of WZ I just jibbed it off anyway. Annoying because I am 100% confident they’d all prefer it if they tried it, but they’ve all played basically nothing but cod for a decade.

Yeah I play it, it's great.

Didn't expect to even like it as it was a battle royale but the gunplay and movement mechanics got me hooked.
 

I’ve pretty much narrowed my PC search to these two from Scan. They have identical specs besides the CPU and GPU. In a perfect world I’d like the 3070 and the Ryzen 5. Maybe it’s worth a call to see what they can do.

I wonder which one would people on here pick if given the choice.

I wouldn’t buy a used condom from anyone. At least I don’t think so

They're rated well on Trusted Reviews at 4.6. I thought that was pretty good
