Computer games.

CPU was around ~€310,
Case - Cougar - ~€60,
GPU - free, as I said.
Cooler - Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120SE - €35 (best in class non-water/AIO cooling for the 7700 and 7700X as per overclockers somehow!)
PSU - Seasonic 850W - ~€140 or so
Mobo - B650E Riptide - €250
RAM Corsair Vengeance DD5 - ~€100
NVME 500GB and 1 regular 2.5" SSD were ~€50-75 or so each, both Samsung, but the regular one was bought ages ago as I forgot I had it ( lol )

All are approximate and were either deals or I got them from work-related places for some price off - CPU was substantially off realistically from what's offered around our parts currently.

Also naturally a lot of smiles and love for it lol
Can we see a setup please.

Finally received a physical copy of this for PS4 Pro and gonna have a blast of it this weekend. Never played it before and always wanted to (never owned a PC for gaming). It uses voice actors from the original '82 movie and music by Vangelis as well as a point/click detective storyline that runs parallel to the events of the movie. Looking forwards to a bit of old-school 90's FUTURISTIC DYSTOPIA.

Also - they (Konami) really NEED to remaster/remake Kojima's "Snatcher" which was a similar game that mashed together BR/Terminator in a beautifully anime-styled presentation. Always wanted to play that and it was only ever released in UK on Sega Mega-CD. Which absolutely NOBODY owned...and it goes for the cost of a kidney on E-bay these days......

Played blade runner on PC back in the day, must have been mid to late 90s. Really enjoyed it 👍

That’s a very good PC, mate. DDR5 intrigues me, as my RAM speed is only 2933mhz.

If you’re looking to play CPU heavy games then you’ve got a very good system. GPU can be swapped out any time providing it fits in your case.

Enjoy, nerd brother.

Bought Battlefield V over Xmas, as it was 4 quid and a few mates coaxed me into it - old setup didn't even load it properly, new one is everything ultra running at smooth lol

Enjoying it but as life's not fair - I've had to do things after work nearly every day and I'm currently not at home until sunday FFS

Always the way.

Whenever I do find the time I have no energy. I just end up staring at my Steam library unable to play anything.

Oh no I have a ton of things I want to play, but the problem recently has been time really.

It was like that before I built it, tbh even that was a "when am I free to spend a few hours on this" situation sadly.
Same here. I’ve had to put a stop to any news purchases regardless of the price.

My current ‘backlog’:

- Stalker trilogy (I’m 50% through the first)
- Metro trilogy
- Alan Wake
- GTA IV + DLCs
- Firewatch
- Sons of the Forest
- Project Zomboid
- Age of Empires 2
- Squad

DayZ has to some extent ruined other games for me. It’s just so easy to pick up and play. I really struggle with games with lots of menus now.

Very much enjoying Indie games again at the minute. Dave the Diver is really good, Cult of the Lamb is good and different, not often you get to be as horrible and evil as you like to your followers lol both have a really impressive amount of content for indie games.

A few of games you can pick up and play if your short for time are - Olli Olli World a skateboarding game that's all about speed, it plays surprisingly well for a side scroller.

Dome Keeper which is a hybrid of mining and tower defence, it's good but fairly limited. and

Sociable Soccer which I've mentioned before made by the Sensible Soccer guy, it's a different experience from the FIFA's of this world.

Anno 1800 is scary levels of crack. Been playing Coop with 2 mates where we all share the same economy and it just eats up time like no other game.

Incredibly polished game as well, comfortably the best city-building game ever imo (used to love Caesar 3 back in ye day)

You guys should try Factorio, or Cractorio as it is know, if you think Anno is a time-eater lol
