Computer games.

Very much enjoying Indie games again at the minute. Dave the Diver is really good, Cult of the Lamb is good and different, not often you get to be as horrible and evil as you like to your followers lol both have a really impressive amount of content for indie games.

A few of games you can pick up and play if your short for time are - Olli Olli World a skateboarding game that's all about speed, it plays surprisingly well for a side scroller.

Dome Keeper which is a hybrid of mining and tower defence, it's good but fairly limited. and

Sociable Soccer which I've mentioned before made by the Sensible Soccer guy, it's a different experience from the FIFA's of this world.
I can't remember the last time I picked up and completed a AAA game that wasn't Nintendo. Mostly just play indie games now with the occasional big Nintendo release (TOTK/SMBW). I tried to play Hogwarts Legacy and got bored really quickly. I enjoyed Spiderman and the Miles Morales DLC (essentially what it was) but I haven't picked up Spiderman 2 yet. Most of my time gaming, and there's not that much of it at the moment, is spent with indie games like Hollow Knight, Sea of Stars, and the Ori games, or playing games with lots of replayability like Slay the Spire and Enter the Gungeon. Big budget games, especially action adventure with small rpg-like elements all feel very same-y to me at the moment.

Anno 1800 is scary levels of crack. Been playing Coop with 2 mates where we all share the same economy and it just eats up time like no other game.

Incredibly polished game as well, comfortably the best city-building game ever imo (used to love Caesar 3 back in ye day)

Have had my eye on this for a while. Think I installed the demo/game when there was a free weekend but never started it up. Really struggle to get into any proper games nowadays, even stuff I used to love like FM and Civ, but would love to get into something that grabs me the way those used to.

Have a few days off and I’m enjoying Gamepass. First Ori game looks gorgeous, decent gameplay so far but not grabbing me yet like Hollow Knight

Citizen Sleeper. Really enjoying the style and writing in this. Not sure the gameplay will hold my attention now the game world is expanding and there’s a lot more choices

Dead Space remake. Still brilliant, happy I’ll finally get to finish it now as I never got back to the original

Ghostwire. Some interesting sections and I love the style, but I’m not sure whether I like it enough to play it thru

Pentiment. Highly rated but need to play it a bit longer

Sea of Stars. Really loving this Zelda like game.

Have downloaded No Mans Sky, Deathloop and the Res Evil 2 remake also but not got to them

The second Ori introduces some really nice combat and hashes out a few of the problems with projectiles being difficult to see and I think it's a much better game for it. It also gets gone with the saving mechanic so some QoL upgrades help too. It's worth finishing up and playing the second one after.

Hello all, I’ve had Starfield since release but haven’t even started it up yet, is it worth it or am I going to be disappointed? I’ve had more fun with a dinosaur game and the rebrand of Post Scriptum to bother starting it.
