Champ man 3 was definitely delayed. It was basically the first version to move to a pitch view with player overhead etc. I remember vividly because internet wasn’t that mainstream back then and you relied on places like virgin/ hmv for updates on release.

Paying £60 plus for a game still in beta in many cases is the cause, taking up to year if not longer looking like playable game that was fit for release. In which time many have moved on. Ill wait for some weeks now to consider purchase just avoid wasting may game time and money although there will always be those who have to be first to the party.

I think overall the cost monthly of Nintendo/ps5/Xbox subs I feel I can justify as my main entertainment but when you get into a period of only playing one game on one console like this it's hard to not feel like you are wasting money
I wish they did pause periods like I can get with Audible
I know it's not common to have all 3, and I only have them because the Xbox was given to me, but a lot of people have two consoles and likely pay two subs each month

Yes they did it to create Mass Effect, but as great as those games were none of them were as good as that was.
