In case anyone missed it, Alien Isolation 2 is being created currently. Announced on the tenth anniversary of the release of the first one in October.
I've spent a decade cowering from it. It might be time to go back to Sevastopol and face this thing at last.

OK listen up I got you. Ten things.
1. Do the tutorial cave and learn how how to guard / counter. Be patient when fighting until you figure out the mechanics of it. Duck, dodge, dive, stab, dodge again. Watch youtube vids for help.
2. You got three bars Red Health / Blue Magic and Green Stamina. Get runes by killing stuff and level up. Smithing stones level up weapons.
3. Sites of Grace restore everything but bring back the baddies you killed. Find 3 and rest at them to get the chick that gives you the horse and the ability to level up. One you've done this - if you rest at the first church at night - sitting on the wall is the witch Renna - she'll give you a bell which when you get them you can summon Spirit Ashes. These help you fight the bosses.
4. Go south to Castle morne to level up before heading into Stormveil castle.
5. Put the horse in the 'quick menu' so you can jump on it fast. The horse can literally run away from anything bar boss fights.
6. Find Golden seeds and sacred tears and use them at sites of grace to upgrade.
7. Map fragments unlock the map and you can see where the map fragments are on the locked map by the little pillar.
8. Ruins usually have cellars with chests.
9. Caves and dungeons close to the start are good ways at picking u weapons and ashes of war.
10. This game is absolutely massive and you will die a million times. Good luck!

Head to Agheel Lake (it’s in the starting area) and go to the ruins there. There’s a chest inside with one of the best items in the game inside…
I’m sure GoT’s resident Fromsoft nerds (me and @LostLegend) can give tips. Awesome game though, my joint favourite of the last decade alongside Baldur’s Gate 3
Finally caved in and picked up Balatro. Went for the mobile version as that seems to be when I'd be most likely to play it.
It's like a cross between poker and solitaire with some deck building and rougue-like elements.
I was warned in advance that it is highly addictive and I can confirm it is in fact crack cocaine in card game format.
Realised this was free on Apple Arcade and so got it yesterday. Perfect sort of game for mobile and I agree, incredibly addictive. I’m not very good at it but that isn’t stopping me.
Top tip: it took me a while to realise that re-arranging your jokers can have different effects. They trigger in order from left to right.
You typically want your X-Mult Jokers at the end so that they multiply any +-Mult Cards you play
