Computer games.

That’s a very good point, It is purely sentiment clouding my judgment. Emulator is great shout, thank you.
Went to Arcains in the city centre a while back as part of a birthday night out. Was looking forward to playing old stuff like Double Dragon, Golden Axe and a good few others on the big arcade cabinets from back in the day.

Within the hour I was bored stupid and headed to the bar below it to watch whatever sport was on TV with a drink. All absolute classics of their era but they've aged like milk playing them now.

Isn't FM on everything nowadays? FM25 supposed to be out in March, tho god knows if it will be/what it will be like. Can prob pick up FM24 relatively cheaply in the meantime.
I did just that after my post.

Just stopped now to walk the dog. Its a mad game. Its boring and addictive at the same time. Kinda what I remember lma. But that had a little guitar riff haha.

Your just sitting there in silence like some office worker. I hardly know what I am doing toln me my 3rd game to know how to select the team.

I find the user interface isn't very clear navigating around and stuff

Guess just have to get used to it.

Any tips

4-2-3-1 gegenpress. You get used to the UI as you play more, it's changed ever so slightly with every iteration so it's a bit weird if you've not played for a while.

My wife calls it "playing Advanced Excel spreadsheets" and honestly, yeah, it kind of is.

LMA 2006 was my last rodio i think. As said I remember that being more intuitive and simple. But its just a matter of not being used to it im sure.

I went for that formation oddly enough. Playing as wrexham. And hard finding out thenplayer positions some have like S8 beside them whatever that is

I went to an equivalent here in London and had much the same experience. Fun for a quick nostalgia kick but got bored very quickly.

I spent an hour just on the world cup footy game and still couldn't bloody score a goal. It mocked me and took my money when I was a kid and it mocks me now

I enjoyed it personally, think I stopped after 3 hours of play as my eyes were going West

I have a lot of mods on mine but Christ that would make my GPU go up like chernobyl
My 4060 never gets above 65c on it, my CPU never above 70c on it. Runs really smoothly very rarely go below 60fps. It's been really fun to play, keeps the vanilla feel unlike some of the mods which add Souls-like combat which doesn't really work too well with the way collisions occur in Skyrim imo. It's like playing a new game.

Mate I’m this close to getting a top spec gaming rig on tick please don’t push me there. My missus has gained sentience and knows the price of things these days

Prices of gpus are starting to stabilize or fall, it's getting easier. I wouldn't recommend 2nd hand as you don't know what someone's done, if they've burned the card out or overclocked hard. She doesn't need to know!
