You can also have it this second rather than have to leave the house or wait for it to be posted to you. Its the same with the gold membership on Xbox, it costs more if you buy it through the Xbox. Buy it in a shop or online and get a code, you pay a big fraction of the price. I wouldnt bother with gold if I had to pay full price.

amnesia dark descent was one of the best games id ever played.

Imagine Amnesia with oculus rift...

I've just got Amnesia on sale too, can't wait to crap my pants from that.

Finally got round to playing Amnesia...ye gods! I'm not easily scared but I squealed like a little girl more than once. It's the build-up of terror coupled with that you can't fight back. Superbly-executed horror.

@ijjysmith I'm really, really enjoying Mafia 2. Quality game. The only let down is that it's a little bit linear, and that the game doesn't make good enough use of the open world. So far though it's a good 8.5/10.

Defo agree.

The atmosphere, story, voice acting, is all spot on isn't it? There's just not a lot else to do outside the story mode.

Yeah it really is. I'd only really played it in like 2 hour bursts but I had a good 8 hour session yesterday, which is something I haven't done with a game for a good while. It's quite absorbing for a game of its kind.

The cars are ace too. I love putting the camera on the bonnet view and cruising around the city in a hot rod whilst listening to 50's songs.

Best £4 I've ever spent!
