Hasbro game room came out today for xbox one. Only monopoly so far but hoping they release risk so I can batter my kids over Xmas hols

Beating your kids just got they beat you is not on Baz. And I think it's pretty sick you have to buy this game so that you can lose to them and give yourself an excuse tbh...

I downloaded War of Thunder last night, it's a free game on the PS4, it's basically a flight/ tank sim game but played ppv online, only played for an hour or so after doing the tutorials, looks decent.

GTA 5 hands down best looking game I've ever seen.

It's unreal in PS4 so I imagine xbone too.

Came accross something funny recently over Destiny.

apparently if so set your clock on your PS3/4 to last year then every consumable you have ever used is re used. Not too sure how this works or the benefit apart from the obvious

BUT

everyone who done this at the start of Destiny have been banned and they still haven't been allowed back in! All for people taking advantage of poor programming. Imagine being told 'look at this glitch' then weeks later still not being able to play the game.



Raises the issue of online gaming then. If Bungie banned you from playing their game for some exploit you have done then you have wasted your money. Im sure the story will still be accessable but still, cutting access to an offline game like Call of Duty is one thing but when it is solely online it is a very dubious ground to be banning people.

In the EULA, which most people just click away, they always explicitly state that if you use an exploit or find an exploit and use it to your advantage you will be banned. Pretty simple really.

Aye but the difference between that and this is Call of duty will still play offline when you recieve the ban. Not much good to your but at least you can sell it on and get some money. Online only games and certainly games like destiny that many people downloaded suddenly become worthless to you and there is no way around it other than the lost 50 quid.

cheaters should be punished sure, thats why i find it funny about the exploit tat was found. but i know i was temp banned from halo a few times for not doing anything wrong other than the game mistakes i got caught up in and id hate for that to waste my money in the future.

It was the best game I've played in years. Bought the new one last night but didn't have a chance to play.

Got the afternoon off today though, so just heading home for a good session, will report back.

Agree there. My bug bear was that once all the side stuff was done and it was only story the game was painfully boring. But up until that point i had some of the best experiences in a game away from halo 3 online and Skyrim

I thought the story in FC3 was absolutely brilliant tbh. Vaas was one of the best game characters i've ever seen.

The frist half was yeah. the voigt part i thought was very laboured and a carbon copy of most other games. Vaas was probably one of the most impressive characters created for a game.

I mean so much about FC3 i loved, and have gone back to it a few times since i finished it, when you just feel like playing it one more time. Not had that with any other game this gen, even skyrim i wasnt bothered about going back to.
