Computer games.

Kind of, they outsourced a lot of the work (Zenimax Online), but you wouldn't notice, it feels like an ESO game. It's set a thousand years before Skyrim, and has all of the countries in one massive continent, so there's Skyrim, Mournhold etc, and the maps are similar. Got the same feel of "go run around and find stuff to do" as the previous games did.

Got it last week.

So far so good. Up to level 8 right now. Still getting the hang of it though.

Great series that.

Happy that it notes the obvious in terms of PC gaming. It will always be ahead of console games for obvious reasons, and I'm not sure why people think there's something wrong with that. It's just an issue of mathematics - a console is out of date inside 12 months or so, but you get the convenience of a set platform for development in the living room. It's a trade off.

Thanks for posting Dylan.

No worries, I thought it was a great series and would be appreciated here.

I bought a ps4 in September and it's already broken, keeps ejecting the disc at random times mid-game.

So many people keep telling me PC gaming is a lot better, might start listening to them soon.
Pretty much, it comes down to what you want in gaming. For ease of use (and sports games) then console is your kit. Personally, I have always been a PC gamer, but have always had a console on the side.

Not entirely fair there. Isn't DA a console game first and foremost, and merely ported to PC?

UI layout would suggest so but I know Origins was PC-centric...didn't play the second one. Cracking game so far, TBH. In truth, I bought it for PS4 because I know I can get some money back on it for trade-in later. It's getting tough to stomach the price on new releases if I can't recoup some of the money later.

Anyone know of any good games on Steam etc.. for Mac? (I know, I know...) I like action games but nothing sci-fi or fantasy. Considering Batman Arkham Asylum but it's not my usual thing.

Ha, literally playing that right now, since the GOTY edition's been in my library for about a year now!

Boss game, NEA. Some of the animations are a bit old, but everything else is boss/mental.

It's £13 or so on the App Store so might go for that. Max Payne 3 is also about £15, anyone played that? I loved the first two but have heard mixed reviews.
