Computer games.

I find the graphics on the PS4 are pretty good and detailed, but they are also quite chunky as well

I imagine they'll get smoother as the console ages

Launch and Early games can tend to look a bit weaker graphically in comparison to later ones

Of course they'll get better mate, look at early 360/PS3 games then look at the likes of GTA 5 and The Last Of Us.

As time goes with this generation developers will learn how to squeeze everything they can out of these new systems like they did with the old gen consoles.

Got my daughter a Wi u and was surprised on how many local multiplayer games they have, its so much fun playing with someone next to you. Don't get me wrong. Online Multiplayer is great. The xbox 360 was great for this. Halo, Gears of War, Left 4 dead.
Just wish the developers would add local multiplayer in but its seems that this is not as popular anymore, don't the kids play in the rooms together playing Multiplayer or are they all online now. We have the huge televisions now as well for split screen.

Most kids just don't 'come out to play', so to speak. It's all online.

I live in a house with 4 other students and the Wii U is the only option really for house gaming. Nintendo never lose sight of how fun it is to sit in a room with a load of friends and shout at each other over Mario Kart/Smash Bros.

Don't get me wrong, I adore my PS4 but most of my gaming on the device is solitary. Which is fine by me when I've got the 100 hour Dragon Age Inquisition to sink my teeth into :D

Yeah I love getting stuck into a RPG and exploring the game world and be alone but sometimes you just want to play with other IN THE SAME ROOM. Lets hope Nintendo always remain loyal to local multiplayer, its was a sad day when Bungie didn't include multiplayer after what they done with Halo, The creators who done Left for dead have now done Evolve and no local multiplayer either. So most of the best creators last year who made good multiplayer have now not brought it in their new games. Shame all round.

Will get this soon but right now I'm getting my RPG kicks from Final Fantasy Realms Reborn. How does this game compare to Bioware other game Mass Effect. Loved Mass Effect.

Not played enough of it yet, but the starting bit is a lot less impressive than the start of Mass Effect 3 was (but then that can be said of almost everything).

Got Inquisition yesterday. Better than DA2, but worse than Skyrim.

How can you say that already?

The game is absolutely HUGE. Played 10 hours already and that's nowhere near enough to say it's better/worse than two games which I spent maybe 50 and 100 hours in respectively.

Just completed Shadow of Mordor 100%. Getting my first platinum trophy. Ace game.

Really was. No shame in ripping mechanics from other games when you blend them so well and make a game so damn fun. Plus the nemesis system is a brilliantly original invention.

Only downside was the last two boss 'fights' and the ending. Kind of anti-climactic.

Aye, the ending was a bit too easy. Whole game was a piece of piss, really. Enjoyed it none the less.

Yeah if you're familiar with the Arkham games and their combat system you'll trounce the game. Remember spending a solid hour fighting a huge horde of orcs, captains and warchiefs after failing to pick off bodyguards or attack with any tact. Was quite satisfying surviving that onslaught, like.

Played the one day trial of that sunset overdrive last night. Was alright. Obviously multiplayer oriented but a bit of a change from your CODs or Battlefields. More like tony Hawks mixed with left for dead, which sounds weird but works in its own way. Me and my lads enjoyed it. Don't think I'd pay 50 notes for it though but would buy it in 6 months to a year in a sale or on disk 2nd hand

Been on gta 5 on the ps4 over the past few days, truth be told apart from greater draw distances, the first person mode (which is quite good) and noises coming through the controller, its not anymore polished or visually better than i remember on ps3.

Still cant be arsed with online mode so hope they release some new story DLC some time soon

Hmmm I'd have to disagree mate.

Yes, it's essentially the same game. But the improvements in visuals are vast. To the very minute detail.

Then add to that the controller things, the extra radio tracks and the first person thing (that I will never ever use!) I'd say it's exactly what it says it is.
