GRID really tests my patience.

Having to restart a race 15 times due to someone crashing in to you at the first corner is deeply frustrating.

So Asda, Amazon etc aren't the only places doing Black Friday deals. Seen a few of you mentioning Fallout New Vegas: it's £2.29 at Getgamesgo...

Edit: As are Fallout 3 and Skyrim.

The Black Friday sale on Xbox one is actually pretty decent. Got valiant hearts for £6 and The Walking Dead season 2 for £12 and got angry birds Star Wars for £8. Should keep me and the kids happy over Xmas I hope.

I've been mulling over buying a few games on Steam for a little bit and now they've all gone on sale! Result! I can't play them all though FFS!

Although when your wishlist has about 50 games on it, it kind of loses its appeal...

It's times like these that I'm glad I've got a Mac as the choice is incredible, so I've got a lot less choice than you and I'm still spoilt for choice. These are the ones I've currently mulling over:

Arkham City: £3.74
Arkham Asylum: £3.74
Max Payne 3: £4.49
Assassins Creed 2: £2.49
Assassins Creed Brotherhood: £3.74
Deus Ex Human Revolution: £6.49

I've never played the Batman games and I only played Assassins Creed 1 and didn't like it too much. I really don't know what to go for here.

The batman games are good I think, there is great hand to hand combat, sneak em up and puzzles to solve,

I would go for them over Assasins Creed or Max Payne. though at those prices you can't really go wrong

I picked up Arkham City in the last sale. From what I could tell that seemed to actually be the best in the series. Also got DE:HR a while ago, but have actually played neither yet!

The Batman games are the dogs bollocks of their type, brilliant they are, £3.74 is a steal, best on that list IMO.

Just realised Arkham Asylum is only on Windows and not OS X. Never mind. Is it advisable to play the first one before Arkham City?

Nah. I wouldn't say so mate.

City was was better for me. Asylum was great but always felt a little locked in. Cos you are!

Both great games, would have been nice to have played the first though, I gladly paid £40 on the Xbox each when they first came out.

Top quality open world platform games they are.
