Computer games.

What Mac do you have, mate ?

I've tried using my Macs for playing games in the past and the performance has always been godawful. Have a MBP with Retina now so wondering if i'll have more luck.

Think you need the MVP with the Iris at the very least Brrennnzzzzz

Mine is a late 2013 MacBook Pro 13" Retina with 2.4ghz, 8gb ram, 256gb SSD, Intel Iris 1536mb (I think, not at my Mac so can't check). It works well on most games.

However, that's only from my experience of playing Dirt 2, Mafia 2 and GRID, all games with good graphics, but they were all from The Apple Store and so I knew they'd work (and they worked really well) , not ventured on to Steam until now.

I've got the same one. I'm happy to let you be the guinea pig and find out how other games run mate...

Haha. Well I've currently got Arkham Asylum on download so I'll let you know how that runs next week or whenever it finishes downloading.

Honestly though, those 3 games have ran brilliantly. The only one I've had an issue with is Spec Ops: The Line, who has crashes every time. There's a few people on the App Store with the same complaint though.

What's the style of these batman games? Are they like resident evil affairs or fallout based
Never played Fallout, and Resident evil has been killed off since the first 2 for me - the way they ditched the survival horror and just replaced it with action is unforgivable imo!

Batman though, played all the games periodically and can say I really enjoyed them. It's like GTA if anything, free roam the city, do some missions, free roam, do some more, play a bit of the story, kill some [Poor language removed] etc

Been thinking about Far Cry 4.

It looks dead good but I have a real problem with first person games.

Is it different to like normal ones? Sorry for the dumb question. I have no idea.
