The 3070 is a real nice card, I wouldn't bother with the 3080 if Ray tracing is your bag, Especially when running in 4k. Even with DLSS enabled it's still a hog on ultra settings, I do love mine but im hitting 10gb on modded versions of games already. 10 gb just isnt worth it, Unless you can nab one of the new ones with 12 gb.

Yeah I’ve got an EVGA 3070 and I can’t fault it. I play a heavily modded game in 1440p and it occasionally chugs a bit. Having spoken to others with similar or better hardware it’s a common issue which I don’t think can be avoided.

Still, I’ve been trying to bag a 3080 at MSRP, as I’d be able to sell the 3070 for similar, so it would be a good value upgrade.

Yeah that's fair enough, I have to say I bought my Asus Tuf 3080 at msrp think it was £649, which at the time I thought was a bit of a bargain...little did I know it would rocket up to over a grand a few weeks later from overclockers. Good luck with the search. It is a great card. I'm guessing you use afterburner software, you might be able to squeeze a little more fps by raising the power / temp limit ?? I know it's telling you to suck eggs like but hey any little helps.

Uncharted is a great series, Love the drake me. The second is a master piece, the third and fourth became a little bit story heavy (especially the fourth) deffo worth playing though.
The Japanese games you mentioned I havnt tried, except death stranding....that was a cracker for a week, The fun didnt last though...I had spent hours walking up mountains holding boxes...and falling down mountains dropping boxes. 3/10
I have been a courier in real life, Having to wear a brown uniform made from fiberglass, being constantly chased and bitten by dogs, Pissing in plastic bottles and smoking far more cigs than should be possible is endlessly more fun than Death Stranding.

If you enjoy story driven platformers and appreciate pixel art, and are a fan of all things retro gaming, and love typical 80s/90s British humour and references, I can’t recommend playing this game enough.

I'm fairly new to the world of PC gaming so I haven't done any of that, but I may look in to it.

Yeah I missed a couple of stock drops last week. 3080 Founders Editions were going for £649 at Scan. Of course they sold out within seconds and before I could get my stubby fingers to function properly.
 

What people think of Horizon.

I plated the first one. But don't feel excited for this.

I feel like I have to wait a few years before true ps5 games come out. All the games are ps4 games. Even those them coming out thos year.
 
Bungie delayed this by over 3 months so that it 'gets more time in the oven to be the best release it can be' which was their official line last year. It's finally out next Tuesday.

Certainly looks really good based on the trailers they've released.
