Mates, i decided to stick around and see how Everton is going to perform this year. Maybe go visit a game once.

What's the club's goal for the upcoming season?

I think most Evertonians (realistically) would hope for:

- A trophy (any trophy, but preferably Europa League because of the Champs League place)
- Finishing closer to (possibly challenge for) top 4 in terms of points and positions
- Progression of our talented youth by giving them more first team exposure, possibly see one or two make the same move as Davies to be considered established in first team squad.

Feels very risky as his role is key to the team and I just can't see what he will offer to the prem.

Well, for a start he is captain of Ajax, is 24 and has 14 senior caps for Holland.

If you are genuinely worried about this type of signing, then I fail to see what you are actually looking for or what expectations you have.

Like others, he will either sink or swim.

I have no idea why you would be so pessimistic, I really don't?
