Trying to remember the last player we bought that was actually at a top club (Ajax is a big club), not looking to sell, the captain none the less, in his prime for years to come and top of his game. In terms of going out to get the best we can we have done very well here. Even Schneids was sidelined at Man U.

We've either taken big club outcasts (some excellent) or small club heroes.

Honestly, if it continues to be a summer of investment and presuming we replace lukaku with someone almost as prolific... Champions league place. But we really have some work to do with getting some centre backs and left back + wing even if we keep the rest of the squad together (excluding the dead wood of course)

Also, and I hate myself for saying this, but - Klaassen is (on paper) Naismith's desire and work rate with ACTUAL football ability, so I'm a big fan of this signing (and mayo on chips).

Also surprisingly good at headers judging by his goals...
