Im pretty sure the vaults serve a valid purpose, without recourse, what do we become?
For every action there must be a reaction.
Is right.
Just think, Alan Stubbs and AVB Jr. were more popular choices at the time. Vitor f**king Perriera. FFS
Not at all! No reason to be. Just pointing out that it's ridiculous to hand pick people's legit views on an Everton forum and attempt to point score. As I said, tittish.
Haha nah I'm not! I could do the same thing in the Barkley thread, and indeed somebody did, and it's equally tittish. There's a few usual suspects who have nothing substantial to say about any Everton subject and just try the wind up non-stop. Contribute to the debate or don't, but constantly fence sitting whilst ridiculing other people is tittish.
In that press conference, I definitely DID see a chairman still gutted about Moyes, and a bemused looking Martinez who I didn't identify as an Everton manager. I said "Well, we'll give him a chance..." and indeed we have, and he's proven to be an inspired choice. But that doesn't mean the analysis of that initial press conference was wrong.
Very few people can say honestly that Roberto Martinez was their first choice for Everton manager. He certainly wasn't mine, but he was high on the list, and there's a news story on the front page of GOT I can dig out to prove it, and numerous posts from me pointing out that Martinez had much higher credentials to be an Everton manager than Moyes had when he arrived. But was I disappointed we'd hired a guy who had just been relegated? Absolutely.
One things for sure - anyone trying to vault this thread to embarrass people are being disingenuous. Just because they're afraid of giving a definitive opinion on anything on here, it doesn't mean people should be laughed at for doing so. It's tittish tbh.

...nice work Chico on them quotes
If you're going to vault anyone about Martinez, Tubey's an odd choice.
Look at some of the utter vitriol I posted about him prior to that goodison QF. I've never been harsher on anyone than I was on him.
Pipe down you big bearded wrongo. You have the togger perception of a kopite clearly.
All a bit of fun mate as I thought my post conveyed. It still far too early to be judging Martinez but some people were dead dead wrong and shame on them.
