Just been told by someone very reliable that Moyes is turning the United job down. He feels its too soon to take it. Signing a 2yr deal.”

could be BS

Scott Murray has to be the most entertaining football writer at the moment:

Paw Broon is being interviewed on Sky re the possible ascension of David Moyes. The man Brown took over from at Preston North End is a "ready-made replacement" for Ferguson, a "tough, resilient Glasgow boy", and a man who offers a "seamless transfer". For the record, his front room is as beige as his opinions: nut-brown sofa, sand-coloured easy chair, cream shade on the lamp, and nicotine wallpaper. It's like sticking your face into a vat of latte.

As if 11 year at one club Moyes would say it is too soon to take it.

Also, Solksjaer?

Is he not bottom of the Norwegian league ffs?!

said this as well and yes they are bottom of the league . personally we have to get a big name . none of this o neill or lennon bollocks

But how can he agree a deal somewhere else now when he said he'd wait till the end of the season and see where we are! :D

Seriously though, good luck to him, i think it was obvious to most of us who said he'd stay unless he got a better offer. Which he did. Didn't expect it to be United but apparently it is.

Huge test for him though, if he has Fergie holding his hand for the first few years he might survive, but if he has to do it all by himself i just don;t think he'll do enough to keep the job. He'll do ok, probably win a cup and 2nd or 3rd in the league.

What can Moyes do with money? Maybe more a case of can he shop in different markets where he will be judged far far harsher for any failures than he is now if a bargain buy doesn't come off.

More worried about Kenwrong ballsing up a new manager and 2 big players leaving.

Could defo see Baines going with Moyes.

He can't be taking the Manchester United job, as according to the experts on here, he would never get a job at a club bigger Than Everton? Lol
