But they did. So they're not.

oh ffs stop being obtuse. there were times this season they looked like a dead cert to go down, in fact they still could. their 'bigness' isn't magically protecting them from being in the Championship, a bit of luck is.

Has Kenwright said anything yet?

Kenwright told Sky Sports News: "At the end of the day, David's contract is up in six weeks' time and he has a right to make his own decisions. He has served this club wonderfully well."

Kenwright added that he thought Moyes would still be in charge of the Toffees on Sunday, when they entertain West Ham for what would be the former Preston manager's final home game in charge.

:(Kenwright is in big trouble.

The Independant saying that Moyes knew about this most of the season and only told Kenwright about it at 1:30 yesterday.

The Independant said:
"Moyes’ move at the end of the season already leaves Wigan Athletic’s Roberto Martinez, former Everton player Mark Hughes, whose agent Kia Joorabchian has close links to club chairman Bill Kenwright, and Martin O’Neill as potential successors at Goodison.

It also leaves Everton aggrieved that United have not approached them directly about the imminent appointment. Moyes is understood only to have told his chairman Bill Kenwright at 1.30pm. He did not discuss his appointment with Everton’s players when he took training today and travelled to London with his brother and agent, Kenny, to watch Chelsea play Tottenham Hotspur."

It looks like Moyes handed in his notice yesterday.

Sell up Bill, we need a complete fresh start.

if we appoint hughes after the way he acted in the lescott deal I will give my season ticket back . i just cant see o neil getting it at all.

I really ****ing hope that he announces something with everton before he goes to United. If he just leaves without much notice then I believe it will sum up everything he has been about at Everton.
