Expect he'll never read this - but although I'm glad it's over I feel sorry for anyone who's had to go through that. I agree with his philosophies - and the way he bought into the club was absolutely top class. Shame he didn't have the flexibility to adapt his philosophy to make it work. If only he'd worked on defense and set pieces.

Gimme someone with proven pedigree next - Mourinho (so long as he's had mental treatment) or Pellegrini for me.

It's a mercy killing, Sundays game just wasn't an option for the club, given the potential fume levels.

On a side note, my lad will be gutted, he spent the last two days making his " get out of our club banner " and his mar ain't gonna be happy when she finds one of her sheets missing .

Our board have thrown him under the bus to force him out and he stood his ground.

This has potential cost us a FA Cup Final, humiliation at Anfield and made us a laughing stock.

I hate him and the board. We need to get the right man in fast, sort pre-season out and don't mess around in the transfer window.

I hope so mate, I really do, but I can't get too optimistic until I see who our new manager is. That should give an indication of the true ambition of our new (practically) owner.
