Yeah I understand the Tory shouts. Some hideous chants this season against Liverpool too, that sadly come from the arseholes next to the away end.
Still can't believe you've gone down, when you look at the quality in your squad and compare it to our squad, if we survived then you should have strolled it. Anyway good luck for next season, I hope you can come straight back up.

Curious... where do you think it went wrong? Specifically... On paper its a good team, better than ours..
Complacency to put it simply. Despite a woeful start there was no pressure from the media and too little from fans.

From the outside, it might look as though Rodgers had his hands tied but he had thrown the towel in and was waiting to be sacked.

There’s about 10 occasions on which I’d have sacked him. They waited far too long and we ended up with a duff caretaker for two crucial games and then Smith took it when nobody else would.

If they’d booted him out back in September/October, we wouldn’t be in this mess.

Load of players out of contract that know their futures don’t lie here too

Lots to learn from that.. and hence you say past success hurt you now. That's the breeding ground of complacency when the leadership expectations aren't high enough but the players think they can rock up based on history and it'll be fine.

Feel like the story arc is complete for Leicester.

Come up, survive, win league, play in Europe, win Cup, relegated.

God knows what happened there because there was a gulf in class at Goodison between the two teams. No one would have predicted that night of the two teams to be relegated it would be Leicester, not Everton.

From a Leicester fan. I am gutted and I’ve felt every pain that you’ve felt all week. But the truth is you deserve it and we don’t.

You lot probably want to celebrate tonight rather than reading about where Leicester went wrong, but I wish our fanbase had your guts and ability to challenge the ownership.

They’ve brought great times but have fallen way shortly recently and were a victim of our own successes.

Anyway congrats. I envy your fanbase’s passion and ability to drag your club out of the mire when it really matters.

Hopefully play you soon.
Ironically of we had your attack we'd never have been in danger. If you'd had our defence you be top half. Good luck, I'm sure you'll come up as champions.

MOTD highlighted the issue with the out-of-contract players, and if Rodgers was also eyeing the exit door you can understand the drop in performance levels. It seemed like the media were trying to create the same vibe around Everton in the last few weeks, with stories about Onana, Doucoure and Mina being on their way. The difference is that the Leicester squad is better than ours and the likes of Maddison and Tielemans know they will end up at decent clubs, so perhaps they have lost a little focus. Whatever the reasons, I am surprised and grateful that it went in our favour. As others have said, I reckon you will bounce back up.

Huge red flags regarding the attitude of some of their “star” players imo. Could see them not getting as big of a move as they’ll be expecting
