I love a good conspiracy theory. The crazier the better.

Best one Ive heard is from a fella in my gym, I want it to be true. I havent read all the pages so apologies if its been posted.

Basically the world is flat, and where the south pole is, there is a massive wall of ice, and behind it, there is a whole other civilisation where all the elites live (Rothschild etc).

I dont know how true it is, but he said that you can no longer explore down there any more, and because the ice is melting, thats the reason for us ramping the whole climate change stuff. If this wall melts then we could see this other civilisation. He also reckons that theres been planes that have flown over and saw this civilisation, he told me about a documentary on youtube but I cant remember what its called.

I love crazies.

If anyone knows what hes on about feel free to link me up.

I was a member of the Flat Earth Society for ages until they sussed I was trolling them.

My favourite was their excuse for gravity, they said "oh the earth disc is at a constant upward trajectory moving at exactly the same speed as gravity.
 
I've got a great one. The conspiracy within the conspiracy within the conspiracy.

The gubberment creates all the conspiracy theories to discredit skeptics and legitimate arguments against it.

Also did you know that the Flat Earth society has members all over the globe? Crazy stuff!

Proven to be true in a few cases, which now makes people believe that it's the case for everything lol

The Internet allows wingnuts to find other wingnuts and they fall into a cycle of self confirmation bias. Odd bods just used to be odd bods but now they can find millions of other odd bods and indulge their fantasies.

We can't have nice things, we have to go back. Smash the machines!!

Rage against the machine and that, I guess lol

Some conspiracies are interesting but some are VERY VERY farfetched and take information from places where there's nothing lol

Take 9/11, it was always going to create conspiracy theories. 2 jumbo jets make 3 sky scrapers fall down, a passport is miraculously found on the floor despite jet fuel melting steel beams and the US government immediately removed everything from site and there was never an independent inquiry.

Irrespective of whether you believe what the US government said or whether you are full blown "it wuz inside job" those circumstances where always going to fuel all manner of theories.

I love conspiracy theories, I think some of them are really intricate. A good conspiracy theory isn't too far fetched and has just enough truth thrown in to create intrigue. Epstein Island is another one.

Oh you can't just go to the South Pole. Lot's of countries hold claims to parts of it. I've heard everything from "there is a secret Nazi base" to "aliens communicate with humans there"
