Contracts expiring

Gueye a new contract but on reduced terms, he's 36 next season if he expects his current salary then sorry but it won't be matched outside of Saudi.

Lindstrom sign in a permanent deal, lad loves it here and frankly he's a quality young player.

Alcaraz no idea until we see him playing.

Begovic a one year deal as he's basically a coach on the playing staff in all essence.

Coleman bring him into the coaching setup if he's retiring, otherwise if he truly wants to try to keep playing let him go.

Extend Garner on an improved contract, extend Mykolenko on a similar deal.

All the other out of contracts and loans thank and wish them luck when they leave

Glad you’re not dealing with the contracts for real

And cost to replace is ? Unless it's a free transfer at less wages its likely to cost club more to bring in a new player even loan players of any quality require a loan fee.
Clearly if you get someone better for similar/less go for it.
If we can’t afford to buy anyone better than Doucoure, or even scout anyone better than him then that’s on us. Don’t go giving contracts out because it’s going to cost, of course it’s going to cost to bring in players hope DCL or Doucoure don’t get deals and leave for free. Both been a huge part of the rubbish we’ve served up for 3 years.

I'd consider Doucore in the same bracket as Gueye, If he is willing to take a substantial pay cut then keep him otherwise off to Saudi..
Other than that I agree with this, we need to become more ruthless, we all love Coleman and would have all liked to see him at BMD but not on 55K a week for someone who doesn't play much any more, Make him a player-coach on 15-20K a week and have him stay, if he's not happy with that then thanks and good luck.

I suspect if Coleman was to retire, the club may shoehorn a 2nd home friendly in at the new stadium, to allow Coleman to officially end after playing at the new stadium, while also boosting the coffers with a full house in attendance. Romanticism should play no part moving forward, but I could forgive this one if it were to happen!
