Could Everton's second XI survive the premier league

Anybody that doesnt think Kone is turbo gash is :

He's played how many games? I don't think he's that good like but I was at wigan away where he raped our defense multiple times and not just for the goals. Martinez clearly see's something in him and I imagine you must of thought Barry was as incredible as he was before he signed got'a give players time not just 1 game, nerves may have been a big factor
Would Gibson be fit

the line straight after it "all a technicality so don't take to seriously but providing that 11 could remain uninjured for the 38 games"

We have not signed Barry yet. Hibbert still has not signed a new contract. Alcaraz or Duffy as 4th choice CB.

Everton's second team:

Robles

Browning Stones Alcaraz Garbutt

Osman Lundstram

McGeady Gueye Oviedo

Kone

Our current best 11:

Howard

Coleman Jagielka Distin Baines

McCarthy Gibson

Mirallas Barkley Pienaar

Naismith

Nah, to be fair to goat, Kone has looked crap for us. I personally think we are just gonna have to wait and see what he does in the upcoming season before he can be fairly judged, but make no mistake, it's make or break time for Kone at Everton next season. I'm sure goat would be delighted if Kone plays a big part (even if only as a squad player) for us next season.

Nobody would be happier than me, I keep saying, I hope he scores about 50 goals and gives me the Vs everytime he scores, nothing would make me happier.

I went and saw him play three times.

He's lazy as a sloth and and could have scored in each of those games by falling on the bloody ball, but he couldn't even move it the one yard it needed to go in the goal.

I don't think he is going to be important at all for everton and we will bring in a much better striker, but you don't score get to have 15 goals in one season in the la liga then 11 in the prem in your debut season by being an inept footballer. he's scored goals every where he went except sevilla.

Yeah, but is it gonna help his/our cause if 2000 goats let out a collective murmur/groan when he's next announced on to our precious piece of Walton?

That team would stay up but it wouldn't be pretty, it would probably go to a last day relegation dogfight but they'd be the ones in the commanding position imo

I would be quite surprised if a first team of that quality stayed up. Shows why we need some quality signings to come in

Well that's not true, is it.

Since September 2007, Kone has scored double figures in just two seasons. Once for Levante (15 goals in 34 games) and once for Wigan (11 in 33). In the remaining five seasons combined, he scored 24 league goals. If you want to go back a bit further he played two seasons for PSV between 2005 and 2007, scoring 21 goals in total. That does average out to double figures, but only barely.

I agree that we probably need to give him a chance to prove himself, if only because no-one is going to buy him for anything like the sum we spaffed out on him. But let's not get all delusional and pretend he's our number one striker: Traore's scored more goals in competitive games for us than Kone has ffs. I would say Naismith is our number one, with Traore as the number two. But there's the whole summer for them all to recover, train and develop so who knows?

And to the OP: I think Oviedo is ahead of Pienaar at this stage, so I'd swap them around. I'd also have Duffy ahead of Alcaraz. I don't think our second eleven would get relegated, but I think it would struggle to finish any higher than fourteenth due to a lack of a goalscorer and a lack of steel in the midfield.

in the same sentence I said I don't think he is going to be important at all for everton and we will bring in a much better striker so why is that delusional and pretending he's our number 1 striker? I think Naismith is a better player than Kone, I see Naismith as a CAM or a number 10 He is better than Osman but I cant put Naismith in CAM because then I would of had to put Osman as second choice striker cause he has never played there doesn't play there so I couldn't make a "second 11"

I didn't put Traore in there cause he doesn't play there and, I only put Barry in cause without him there wouldn't be a second team and he looks most likely to join us next season. it's inconsistent but i had to do it, as for duffy I haven't seen enough of him and Oviedo as of yet i don't believe he is higher in the pecking order but I hope he comes back next season and takes Pienaar's place.

I kind of regret putting Kone above Naismith in the team now but i'm going to take the stick for doing it and not changing it even though I don't agree with it myself haha
