Could/should Dyche walk after last night

No chance.
Then he must be thick then...either way that's not something to recommend him.

The big thing for me is that this feller must believe he's getting the chance to get us back up when we get relegated.

But he'll be chased out of town if we collapse, as I expect us to do.

I said earlier today (and I stand by this) although Lampard had proven how poor he was tactically, keeping him and securing Danjuma + Dembele would have handed us a far better chance of getting the points to stay up.

Dyche is just a stooge brought in - at best as a last throw of the dice by a desperate hierarchy to keep us in the PL, at worse to see us into the Championship and attempt to see us out again.

He probably told the this in the interview and then they thought they could put their feet up

No, he's simply the latest victim of Billy's BS. Told he would be getting a couple on Monday when he signed his contract, then by 10pm Tuesday evening after he had seen first hand how the club operates, he was probably thinking to himself 'WTF I have I done here'.

But thats not his fault.

He cant be blamed for the state the club is in.

Hes got 18 games to try and get us out of this mess, yes, an eye has potentially been cast towards the "what if".

I still believe we DO have the players to get out this, time will tell I suppose.

Utterly criminal not to bring in a few players this month tho, somebody should do time for it.

The only stiffs we see are in the Directors Box. Stiffen our resolve to see the end of fat head, headlock, Parasite Prentice and the informer.

I wish someone would come up with a credible narrative as to how that happens other than "Big Sean will have them in it to win it, lad".

I mean, how on earth do this sqaud get anwhere near another 25-30 points?

Ive seen all these players have good games, at 1 time or another.

As I said Dave, time will tell, if 2 different managers cant keep this squad up then its possible we didnt have the players or we didnt have the managers, possibly both.

I dont have the answers Dave, but im not throwing in the towel, not yet.

Simple question, his interview indicated he expected signings. Leaving at 9:30 was a big statement the the knew nothing was going to happen. In his situation would you walk he has no affinity to the club been there 24 hours and on the face of it been badly let down.

Did he know before taking the job that he was going to have to work only the players already at the club and put on the same front as this completely inept board who seen to think that stringing the fan base on is ok.

I’m a simple fan and we are all very aware that the club’s finances are in the toilet, we are building a stadium that our owner is personally funding and seem to be unable to get outside investment. If Moshiri had come out and said words to the effect of ‘we have no money we’ve buggered up and there will be no signings’ then at least he’s being honest and so move on. But no we get the interview ’if we need a striker we get a striker…’ total crap

This seems to be going in only 1 direction it’s going to get very much more toxic for the board. Our only hope is that we get a Newcastle/Ashley situation where the fans, team and manager unite despite the horror show going on above them but I think it’s gone too far.
have you never had a 100k a week contract?
You don’t walk away from them

Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk
I'm a football man, no time to talk
Music loud and gravy warm, loved a kick around
Since I was born
And now it's alright, it's okay
The board may look the other way
We can try to understand
The red echo aint in demand....

Just one quality attacker in last night and I'd have been swayed toward a more optimistic outcome. But not getting one persuaded me that the club are signalling they've given up the fight to stay in the PL, and that wont be lost on the players we have.

I still find it hard to believe what's happened in this window.

Maybe we'll put the pieces of that puzzle together in the future.
