Just been watching a recording of BBC/Open University programme in the series Ireland with Simon Reeve (2015) - aired on Dave last night.

In his section on Dublin the shot pans to a church and the commentary says ' The Catholic Church was central to the identity of the new nation and the Archbishop of Dublin even helped draft the new constitution...'

A pity they couldn't have chosen a Catholic church to illustrate their rather partial commentary. The church featured in the shot is the deconsecrated St Andrew's Church of Ireland (Anglican) in Suffolk Street!! :cool:

With all of the actual RC churches that are in Dublin, this was pretty sloppy!!

Nice shot of O'Neill's Pub in the background mind you - a fine city centre watering hole.

The BBC have demonised the Irish since its inception in 1926.

Every news report and every tv drama is skewed to portray the Irish as incapable of running their own nation and that the people are cowed by religion. Even now when they so clearly are not. They relish church scandals about paedohphelia (with zero irony that they are THE locus for paedophlia in British society and have cultivated it in their own organisation).

That's all part of the so called 'Reithian project': to back up colonialism, crack down on political and trade union dissent in the UK and marginalise vulnerable people at home and abroad. A real empire of evil.

Its a horrendous organisation that should be finally dispatched.
