Where were you when you found out that the Pogues were from London? I was in a queue at the airport and mentioned them, some middle aged Irish fella in-front of me with slick back grey hair and brown loafers on turned round and arrogantly commented that they were a London band. My half drunken response of "Well I hope I'm not sat anywhere near you on the flight you boring ****" even got a smile from his mrs. How dare he though. If I was the age I am now I'd have flattened him just for his attitude. Thankfully not all Irish people are like that except one of my uncles who makes Conor McGregor seem like Stephen Fry. Absolute pain in the backside.

I’m a big fan of the Guinness and Irish lasses do tend to have massive chebs so Ireland is a win win for me

Really sad that it took seven pages before someone acknowledged that many Irish birds are often filth and love to slip off their jeans.
