I think the Irish appear to be nice people in general and I like the posts of the Irish contingent on here, HOWEVER @john jako disagrees and thinks you are all ‘dodgy’

Thinking they’re boss with their Irish stew lad. Absolute leather anyone from the south.

Yeah for the first few then normally rum after that.

Just cant take to guinness at all.

Tbf it’s an acquired taste. I drank it for a number of years when I got fed up being served crap real ale at various pubs. Our place serves first class ale and so I stopped drinking it a few years back. I’m not a lager drinker…each to their own…….

I’m quarter Irish but have zero interest in the place, went there several times on holiday as a kid and it was boring/depressing as hell compared to all the other holidays abroad in Greece, Italy etc

Maybe it’s a good place to go and die when you’re old.

Talking about the countryside btw, im sure the cities are fine.
Wee secret now you’re all grown up. Go back and experience it again. Slower paced that England/Wales/Scotland and you could see financial benefits.

Downside, its expensive to leave the island compared to the bigger island next door.

But work from homers are jumping on the chance.

To misquote the Wolfetones - "It's been 44 years since I set foot in Dublin"
(Incidentally 'The Streets of New York' was No.1 over there at the time)
Still love a pint or eight of Guinness. :pint2:

Back in my mid 20's me & the missus back packed around Europe & the UK. Ireland was the only place I felt like I was going to be robbed.

Can't trust those nasty little Guinness drinking Leprechauns.

Just kidding, beautiful place - my maternal grandfather's family was from Ulster before moving to Liverpool.
