The positive feel of any new signings is just destroyed when we then go into friendlies against teams in lower (and sometimes several levels lower) and struggle to even figure out what a football is.

So fans are then already expecting the worse in the first game of the season.

You have to take in consideration yesterday dyche just conducted his second gaffers day demanding workout session along with the fact Coventry are much further along in their training they play next week ,does that absolve everton from all criticism absolutely not but just some things to factor in

Na we'll be alright. These pre seasons under Dyche always seem to turn out like this. Seems he basically knackers them in the week then just throws then onto the pitch..

It’s hard being an Everton fan. I get that these games don’t have meaning but you’d expect a premier league team to be able to control possession and string a pass or two together. There’s no sense that there’s a plan or that the players have practiced any movements that knit together.
