The only shining light was Tim, thought he did very well, carried well and showed purpose. As for the rest? Pretty awful. The main issue is taking too many touches Harrison, McNeil and Garner especially guilty of this. Just kills momentum and leads to DCL running offside (again).
And when DCL does get his chance, absolute pony. Sucks the life out of the team.

Hopefully things will improve when the season starts although that isn't guaranteed but I will feel better when Pickford is in goal, but only a little!

Embarrassing that out classed by a Coventry side who sent youngsters on & still out played a very poor Everton team - they passed around us like we were statues slow & old the two fullbacks awful - did Doucs come on in the 2nd half ? Send him to an Asian club, cash in as he was anonymous - we look worse than last year & on that showing Dyche & co should be looking at Coventry's winger he ran the show with their no 10 until they both got subbed ...

It's depressing watching that at least I paid nothing - the blues following must be angry with that inept performance ... a frendly - no it was a lesson in football .....
Sligo also played their B team against us. This is now a pattern as opposed to one off.
