Covid and Goodison..

Is'nt there some talk of 30,000 at the FA and Carabao cup finals of late? Assuming a 30% capacity for those ties, is it reasonable to project 10-20% capacity attendances at a limited number of PL games before the season concludes? So perhaps a distanced 4-5K with masks in Goodison?

If we could get 2K into the stadia in rain lashed colder months, why not a slightly larger target when the weather is likely to be conducive to lower infection in circulation?

With hope that we will be in our new stadium for 2024/25 season, I wonder if Covid is going to mean some of us have gone to Goodison for the final time?

Heavily restricted crowds for the remaining period of 2021, probably season ticketers only in 2022 and 2023, it could mean many non season ticketers won't get the chance to go before we move.
Very true.
If you were at Ferguson's Chelsea game, count yourself extremely lucky for being at probably the last proper
Goodison-esque game.

The jab is going to be a regular thing and probably annual for lots of people though. It will change as the virus changes. I dont see it as a major concern now that we have effective ones. If they were able to create one in under a year then I dont see why they won't be able to create jabs for new variants too.
I can see 2 3,4, years down the track that the whole vaccine thing will have evolved into something as routine that one of the last things you do before you leave secondary education is to get 1 jab before Easter and 1 more before you leave in July...or maybe even at age 12/13

I've been living in Canada for the last 8 years, usually get home for one game a season. Depresses me that I might never have a day out at Goodison again
