Covid injection period

I did mine mate even dropping strong hints to @COYBL25 & he forgot went to bed I wonder if he gets his Covid Jab ? -do your own & I will ignore your incorrect profile one ;)

No more for me Joey.

I`ve had it four times now and still suffer from exercise induced asthma, that comes and goes, as a result of my first bout.

It served it`s purpose at the time.

Yes I understand - my daughter had a bad reaction now long term sick with long covid - she blames the vaccine, & I know other people who had very bad reactions too.... no time to trial them out IMO ....plus no cure for long Covid - the governments both of them wondering why loads of people are sick since Covid ......

I have nothing against the covid vaccine or vaccines in general. I've had several but the last one was about 2 years ago. I have to pay for mine and went to get a top up last year before going on holiday and the hospital told me not to bother as I wasn't in the at risk population. If they don't want to make money out of me then can't be necessary.

It's that time of year - straight in - straight out - injection painless - no waiting seems to me people are not bothering to get them any more in vast numbers as they used to ?- you used to be in a long queue at one time each year it seems fewer people don't bother any more ....
My family caught covid in June, lasted for 2–3 weeks a weird flu virus that went away & kept coming back - the nurse explained the people with no vaccine often end up in hospital ? Many new variants forecast to arrive - some people do get nasty reactions to these vaccines......
I don't know if this is relevant, Joey, but just in case:

….Mrs Eggs and I got ours done a few weeks ago at the chemist (along with flu jab). First time I’ve had flu jab because I’m one of those fortunate folk who never really gets a cold.

NHS prompts for us old people works a treat.
Same as me and Mrs J. So side affects I'm pleased to report.

Think that's my 5th COVID jab now , I've lost count, but they must work because me and the missus are the only people I know not to have had COVID

Are you JFK Jnr?

The J bit is a giveaway 😂

I had the jab and booster a few years back (but nothing since), I then caught COVID in hospital about two years ago and had to extend my stay by five days or so.
My wife had to have open heart surgery at Broadgreen a good few years ago .

I will always remember the surgeon's words " Generally speaking I advise my patients to avoid hospital, they are ghastly places with all sorts of germs floating about but in your case I'm afraid there is no alternative"
