Same for all those steadfastly refusing vaccinations, they won't be so resolute when airlines refuse them boarding to go to the Costas for the holidays.

I live near the costas and for this reason I'm a big supporter of the deniers who will be unable to travel

Been reading a bit about the proposed Covid passport, testing prior to and after attending events etc

Wonder how this may apply (or not) to going to Goodison at any stage in the future. No covid passport then no admission?

Seems a bit of a complicated system(s) with some benefits but also lots of issues

a) How do you get a Covid passport?
b) How often does it need to be renewed to remain valid i.e. If we need to have booster to handle variants in the future
c) Proof of taking a test before events to gain admission
d) Lots of other proposals

Who pays for all of this too? I think I can guess!

Mate, the facts have already confirmed that Covid will absolutely definitely not have any affect on stadia attendance in any way within the New Stadium thread. I mean, Wembley is due to reopen with a 95% reduction in capacity in just a few weeks time!

If the idea of giving the government the power to force you to do things to attain your basic human rights doesn’t scare you, I’m not sure what will. Bookmark this comment and come back to me in a year or two when it’s being proposed this is how we should use the passports.

This won’t be the end though. Once this is introduced, it will be expanded to other aspects of compliance. We either oppose it now on the principles, or we wait and hope the government will be kind and listen later down the road.
