Still a bit of a surprise to me that he's been tapped on the shoulder to retire, I think you pick your best players regardless when it comes to test match cricket, you don't blood players in at that level, you pick every team to win and Jimmy imo would still be one of the first names on the teamsheet. I don't agree with age being a reason to retire unless you're Ashley Young. If you've got it, you've got it.

I'm of the same opinion, think he has still looked good enough by a distance.

I’ve watched Notts twice this season and they’re proper crap also.

Lancashire's results in the last three matches : lost by an innings and 124 runs, lost by 7 wickets, and today, lost by 9 wickets. Blenkenstein and Chilton cooking up a horror season.
