I never said it was ending fiat or curing world poverty. I viewed it as a store of wealth. I believe the governments are taking action against it to protect their own fiat ponzi and will crush it like they’ve crushed precious metals.

My December purchases haven’t seriously affected my profits as I’m sure you’re aware.

It’s information for you to interpret in any way you choose.

Me, id say that’s indicative of the destruction of fiat

I don’t think the world’s big governments will allow that. The second any cryptocurrency becomes a threat to the value of the US dollar, something will be done.

Threat to the value of the dollar? I think we are well past that stage.

In my opinion I think it’s got well past that, yes.

In what way?

I’ve stated it multiple times here but it’s been ignored/laughed at - people are turning to crypto because if a total lack of faith in national currencies.

But nowhere near enough people to cause a fall in the value of the dollar surely?

That’s not the only way I would define threat.

But since you raise the point - National currencies have indeed collapsed against crypto.

Not ruling out buying back in

If Kev's genuinely made any money then he's done well. It is impossible to accurately predict the top in a bubble, never mind one as big and volatile as cryptos have been. The professionals are the ones who bought much earlier and then got out when everyone else was getting excited about them... while at the same time publicly "predicting" 50k Bitcoin, y'know.. just to lure the suckers in while they were selling up.

All said, 20k down to 7k is a hell of a haircut. Wouldn't surprise me if we see a 50% bounce to rebuild some optimism, but I for one will be steering well clear!
