yeah, these last few days have been a reminder that what goes up quickly can always go back down even quicker.
When too many people seem to be making easy money from the melt-up, complacency sets in and risk is ignored. That is when there is a lot of risk in the market and its easiest to lose your shirt

You can in selected places but it's largely a digital currency. And undoubtedly a bubble that's waiting to pop or has just began to.

Anyone reading this who has managed to turn a potential profit on this nonsense should get out now. Cash in. Don't get greedy - it's so obviously a massive bubble.

... 22 December. If only Kev had listened. Poor sod.

We shall see.

Stock market back to April 2017 levels.

Bitcoin back to November 2017 levels.

Bitcoin appears to have fared better.

Were you happy with Bitcoin in November 2017? You know, after you had your 35k invested but never mentioned it Kev.

I ask because if you were OK with the way it had performed until then after beginning buying in October almost a year before then what motivated you to sell now?

Because if I'm reading this correctly it seems like you're backing Bitcoin to recover some value. So if you always saw this coming why the panic sale?

This has got nothing to do with me personally. Just stating that bitcoin has performed better than equities.

I felt it had some more to fall, and it has. I might buy back in next week.

And when you buy back in.... Are you anticipating it will grow in value?

Do you think it will ever surpass the 5400 you sold the remaining coins for ever again?

Because if the answer is yes I have to question why you sold.

The answer is I felt it would go down a bit more which it has, so I can buy more coins.

And you think it will recover and grow?

How much are you going to reinvest Kev?

What price are you waiting for them to dip to before you jump in again? Will you sell again in the future in response to a price crash?

I seek to recall you saying something about never selling while the price goes down a month or two ago.
