dead balls/set plays , crosses , speed at getting into the final third or getting the ball into the box ....... just not good enough .
all issues that have been our downside all season.

I put it to the room Lukaku is getting found out and Mc Carthy is an also ran

I counter with

Woeful team selection from the off put us on the back foot and CP grew in confidence TBH they missed some easy chances - RM needs to get his team selections and formation correct at the beginning tbh!

woeful? jesus christ. barkley should have started ahead of barkley, although osman actually looked more likely scoring of the two.

that's the only wrong choice. what would you have done? started jelavic ahead of lukaku, put jagielka in goal, brought stones in, gone 5 at the back and naismith on the wing?

Our problem, and not just today, is we simply don't have the players to find the quick one two or change of pace to get through the 8 men defending the last 30 yards. Poor as we have been it is very hard to get the space to do anything against a team set for 0 - -0.

You need two or three sets of quick feet - we have one at best. All about the difference between being able to pay for a 25 million CM and a 10 million one.

This all over. Dominated the game with just that spark missing. Don't get too down on it though. Just think of the days when we've never dominated a game.! It's only 10 games into RMs tenure, and we are SO much more of a footballing outfit than we have been for a long time. Lots of work to be done, but I like the direction they are going. Palace were f*****g made up with 0-0! Everyone take a deep breath and look at the bigger picture. Then go have a pint.

Shocking..bad attitude from the kick off, over confident slack lazy play, don't they think of the poor sods who worked all week travelled down to London to watch that crap.

That for me was the key, the whole team stunk of a bad attitude.

Hopefully it was a one off as despite the first half against Spurs being poor (more down to Spurs playing well) they came out in the second half and improved. Today from the 1st minute they just did not look bothered

Had nothing to do with team selection really. Anyone on the pitch at the moment can't seem to take the game to the opposition. We are in limbo between playing a direct, running game and a quick but incisive passing game. Break might give us more time to tighten it up a bit. We need something to click.

F*cking hell. Jarg ultras with flags and shirtless fat beauts celebrating a 0-0. Embarrassing.

Anyway, utter, utter sh*te yet again, Everton. Can't remember a game this season off the top of my head where we weren't poor or bang average for a sustained period.

Not going to try and predict the derby, but I am extremely grateful we have a break to sort these lads' heads out and get them working together again. Top class group of players playing like f*cking amateurs atm, bar the defence.

Massive pressure on the derby. Huge pressure that we could have f*cking done without.

There's pressure on the derby because it's a derby, nothing to do with drawing today or our league position. We've started the season well points wise, even if performances have been lacking imo.

Palce are a premier league side. If that performance was against somene like West Brom or similar it would of be classed as unlucky. We have a problem with our fanbase who expect anyone lower half of the table to be easy pickings. Peeps need to get real and should know any game is going to be tough.

Even when we play at home against a lower half team the atmosphere is flat because people sit back and expect us to tonk them yet it never happens. If we score against similar teams its like polite applause as if we have been reigning champions for the last 10 years. Get real Everton fans we are not a top team so don't expect victories every time we play.
