Watch it.

You tend to get rather a downbeat view of things from the Sad Sack tendency on here.

Not saying it was a great game or anything, but worth a watch if only to see the sitters Palace missed

Sorry I missed you on Saturday Mikey, we arrived later than we hoped. I did look around for you but it was nearly 2.00pm by then.
I think you should put into some perspective the fact that we had lost seven games on the trot and not kept a clean sheet in the previous ten. We had just had just seen our managerless, bottom of the table team have the better of (just about) a team full of better players. The support this season has been good for every game, there was good support for the whole game and I think the noise at the end was partly relief particularly as we were battered for most of the last ten minutes or so.
The next four for us are Hull, Norwich, West Ham and Cardiff. They will be the litmus test of our season. Without a decent haul of points from those games we've had it. Maybe see you at Goodison in February?

Hi mate

I think I may have spotted you but I didn't want to yell "Alan" in case it wasn't you and also in case that isn't your real name and a run the risk of other people turning round and thinking I was talking to them

After a few days I've calmed down about the whole situation now. At the time though, it just rankled me a bit. Again, I don't think the Palace players deserved to be booed or anything, as they worked hard, but it just seemed like the wrong reaction to have.

If you'd had a 1-0 lead and had gallantly held on for the 3 points, I would have totally understood. But when you're bottom of the league and you've spent most of the match at home playing like the away team, it just seemed like an odd reaction to me

I still wish Palace all the best though, if only because them staying up would make you happy (y)

We're just rubbish when something is expected of us. We don't handle expectancy never have. Thought that might have changed this season with new boss and some new personal like Barkley, lakaku, Barry but it doesn't appear to have yet (although I'm hoping it will)

Can you have nice guys, team players who create an excellent team spirit and them still be ruthless winners?
I'm not sure...

We might have a chance in the derby then because although I have voted on a draw, I am not hugely optimistic on such positive outcome. But, Everton is a strange animal...we might win. Schrodingers cat again
