Not so sure tbh. I have seen so many dreadful decisions over the years, and far too many against the RS is Derbies.

I think, as long as the consistency is there (which it was not last season), then it will be a positive. Seeing the ref go and take a look on the monitor is a big plus imo.

True, but the problem is the consistency seems even worse now (might be recency bias mind). You say pens and fouls in one game, and then they get turned away the next, even afterVAR checks. The worst thing is, they seem to favour the big boys over everyone else.

This. Not a fan of the rule, but its the rule and has been implemented consistently. Players need to suck it up and deal with it.

Mitchell is young and a good prospect. Wouldn’t be playing if Van Arnholt was fit. Townsend is on fire this season whereas previously he has been a bit in and out. Delighted so far with Eze.

Looks a good player.
