That's two potential Premier League banana skin games in a row that we've shown good character and resilience in now. Palace had a good spell where they really came at us and put the pressure on, and it was good to see us standing firm and dealing with it without losing our composure and going into a rushed panic.I believe our pen was a pen and should have been given simply because the rules say it was a pen; that said, I felt Palace should have been awarded one also when DCL moved his arm across his body in our area. The one thing I will say about penalties is that if the keeper must stand on his line without moving off it, the taker should have to take the kick with an uninterrupted run-up, no stops, jumps, or stutters, etc. allowed.
Going with Seamus Coleman for my MotM; the guy has had a great start to the season for us so far and really put himself about again today, which is surprising really considering he was finished at this level a couple of years back.

....no stand out MoM for me, although annoyingly I had to miss the last 20mins. My son said Doucoure actually did a good job then when we were under a bit of pressure, I think he’ll always be one that’s more important without the ball than with it.
Thought both full backs did well at both ends of the pitch, but I’m going for Digne. Valuable contribution getting the penalty but towards the end of last season the defensive aspect of his game really improved and it’s got to a point where he’s actually quite tenacious and competitive.
