We need to recruit some quality in January. I would like us to get Capt Jags and the Milkman back. A defence foursome of Bainesy, Capt Jags, Milkman and Seamus would surely enhance this team. I'd have Crab as a play-making midfielder and Saruman up front. And I'd like to see more of Denise and Blue Bill in the stands...both are extraordinary leaders.

Benitez would probably play connor Gallagher on the bench and play Townsend or Delph given the chance. We are going absolutely nowhere fast as far as I can see. If Mina Allan and Digne start today we would probably get a result. We cant win at this level playing Coleman and Delph. Their ship has passed now. We need to have a look at some younger fresher hungrier players.

Hoping there's three worse teams than us, the hope is the killer though, as I'm not sure there is. Out fought and out thought by a decent palace side for the first time in 27 years. Just shocking - the richy sub was the kicker for me, cannot find an excuse for that one, unless he's crocked.

Our set piece defending and attacking has been dreadful under Benitez, we have to change it, but does he have it in him?

Its baffling really, we've got a defensive manager who is playing unadventurous defensive football and yet.....we are all over the place defensively.

Been self isolating all weekend with me and the Mrs both having covid. Stuck in a house with two under 7s - watching the match was my "treat". What a disaster!

Firstly, I don't think it's lack of effort. More a lack of a workable game plan. We do have one that isn't working and is being dogmatically stuck to though.

Then, going with 3 midfielders then playing the slowest one of them as second striker is ridiculous.

Finally, subbing off your biggest goal threat rather than accommodating him a different way - doubly ridiculous.

Something has to change.

Let’s have it right, what would you have done that he hasn’t, we are absolute pony of the highest order, with a hand of maggot ah!+ bags in the team. What do you expect.
