Benitez is crap. He's a crap manager who is making these players - a fair few of whom are crap - worse than they actually are. He's making crap decisions which compounds any lack of options he has.

Didn't you see where was Townsend , he was falling back most of the time, kind of the reason for his lack of form is this as well mf is utterly non performing.

Precisely that. When you are forced to judge Godfrey as MoM , who is just about avarage with all that nervy moments he have, you could very well understand the gravity of the situation. Can't even fathom how these many players can be replaced within a season or two...it's a very long project I suppose.

I can't even vote on this one. For the first time in a long time I've looked at the players names and just not had the inclination to pick one of them. I hate to say that I'm done, but I really think I am. From 1980 to the present day I've never cared so little, and it's a reflection of the performance on the pitch, the utter clueless, lazy play has just beaten me.

He was playing right mid yes so it was basically 451 not the 433 it should have been.

So don't play Townsend. He doesn't need to play, he's badly out of form. Play a proper front three and have the midfield in a flat three with Doucoure pushing on when needed. He literally did it against Arsenal six days ago.

Richy was rightly aggrieved at being hooked for Roundone, goal or not. With the forwards we have it makes no sense to hoof it up to their heads and yet we do it over and over again. Pickford/Keane/Holgate kicking long to Richy or Gray's head has to be the definition of insanity. We played a nervous Palace team and made them feel like 70's Brazil.
This sounds like a broken record but the FSW is just not a good enough manager for Everton today in this league.

Yes Connor Gallagher was very good but I thought the way Everton defended with big gaps still showing and a very poor midfield made Palace look better than they were, if we had started on the front foot from the start we might have rattled them like we did after we went 2-0 down.

Palace were good first half, well worth their 1 goal lead.

Second half dipped a bit but deserved the win without doubt.

Yes they deserved to win but Everton made it a lot easier for them with the stupid mistakes and playing on the back foot for over an hour.

There are probably three teams that won't get as many points as us between now and the end of the season, but you do realise that won't always be the case next season, or the season after that don't you? Drastic changes needed everywhere or we're Aston Villa circa about 2014.
