You're right that it doesn't affect the players on the pitch but they've picked wright for his links to palace so why not one of our ex players to give balance?

I think living in the City it's a lot harder because all the younger fans will have loads of rs mates who just rub it in on a daily basis. So from a local point of view it would be huge just to get that first trophy done and dusted to pipe that lot down about our lack of success.

There's not a day that goes by where my lad doesn't come home and say some rs has taken the piss over something

Yep I reckon so mate, as long as we stay up then i don't see why my lad can't go into school after we win the cup and even if they done the treble he'll have a bit of ammo to take the piss.

Trust me, even if they won the treble they'd be fuming if we won a cup, they're just as bitter as anyone and no one will ever convince me otherwise.

Just switched on itv coverage,as usual they have dragged some bird in from the local salon to front the show, accompanied by 2 cockneys,one a Palace legend.

She is on all sorts on Sky Sports so not sure on that.
