It's a bonus if they drop anything here tonight.

Who knows, City might need them to, but you have to believe, after back to back victories away at two in form teams like Palace and Everton, two home games against (let's have it right) bang average sides are going to be negotiated.

The only thing Liverpool can do tonight is try and get a few and place the seed of doubt in City's minds that GD will see them through. That said, if they go looking for goals Palace can counter with some impact...as we learned to our cost.

This season Dowd has reffed them 3 times, 2 wins 1 draw, the Derby. Last season Dowd reffed them 3 times 1 win, 2 draws.

Webb this season has reffed them 3 times in the league 1 win 2 lost and 1 cup game, lost.

Last season he reffed them 5 times 1 win, 1 draw and 3 lost.

Clattenburg has reffed them more this season than any other since 2007. He gets 2 games per season since the infamous Derby, this season as you say 4 times. What is unusual though is for a referee to ref the same team 3 times within 7 weeks. The usual rule of thumb is that a referee doesn't ref the same team within 6 weeks.

Webb got the Chelsea league game followed by the Arsenal cup game. He hasn't refereed them since.

Conte also claimed Clattenburg had failed to control what he saw as Benfica's spoiling tactics.

"The referee allowed them to obstruct the play the whole game. Before the game he told is us that he wouldn't stop play every time a player hit the floor, but that's what happened. We feel like we're not being taken seriously, and Uefa should show us more respect by sending a referee of the required standard."

Fun how it takes an Italian to question the ability of Clattenburg and not the media in this country.

Been saying for a while, the select group ref's panel who choose matchday refs and discipline them need looking into.

If Palace don't win then Tony Club Shop be prepared, be very prepared.

Liverpool will win tonight I can't see them dropping points in two games in a row considering the form they have been in. Keep the score down and I'll be happy enough.

...I dont know you know. They've been picking up the points, but their results in April were got by scoring 8 and conceding 7. They desperately need the Suarez/Sturridge partnership to reignite.

So, yeah, Liverpool win tonight.

And Pulis would have been working all week to stop it Dave. Them Palace players owe him big time. They would be championship players by now without him, and they know it. If the RS get 3 points, it wont be a cricket score.

That game transformed us. Convinced Noades to invest in the squad, bought in Big Nige and Andy Thorn. Survived comfortably and got to the Cup final (who did we beat in the semi again?) and finished third the next season. I feel like thanking them sometimes.
A bit like the Fulham debacle at home this season, got beat 4-1 but Holloway walked. Result!

........thanks for mentioning it though.......really appreciated. lol.

Brilliant thread mate

I dreamt that you won 4.0 last night

Barring the crook in black handing them their usual three pens, yeah. I reckon Pulis wasn't too pleased at them turning up in their flip flops against City last week.

A draw is not inconceivable if they can score and wipe out the inevitable gift from that corrupt turd.
