Been an Everton fan too long to not be nervous when everything seems to be going well.

Shows what mentality can do, both as fans and players though. There is a fine balance between confidence/cockiness on one hand and caution/self sabotage on the other.

City have been this route before so don't think they will be over confident but a nervy start vs Villa and doubts could creep in at least for the fans.
Best thing Is City lost at Anfield and witnessed the self congratulating biffs first hand. With it being recent too it will be fresh in their minds. They should be focused on finishing the job.

Remember the 6 minutes in Istanbul?

This 'King Over Pope' brigade have a pact with Satan I tell ya"

I think Brenda's conceding of the title is nonsense designed to encourage Man City to be complacent. Because not that much changed in the title race between the first whistle and the last whistle at Selhurst Park. Liverpool always needed a Man City slip up against either Villa or West Ham. That's still the case. Only now they need it to be a defeat slip whereas a draw slip would've done previously.

I know what you mean mate, but Pellegrini is a veteran, Brenda's 'concession' won't cause a ripple. Rodgers is a novice here.
