They will have so many on world cup duty and in particular Gerrard, who is running on empty now. This season is make or break for him. Take him out of the equation and see how well they do.

Suarez is a goner. Off to Real after the world cup. All their 'big' players have been over worked this season. They will have no rest and expect to be up and running to compete. Have a bet on us finishing above the RS.

I cheered with much excitement, but who can blame me?

a) they would have been insufferable,

b) I genuinely find their football club disgusting in a number of respects,

c) some Liverpool fans have put too much of an emphasis on Hillsborough - it is sickening at times how they use it as a ploy to suggest they deserved more out of a game of football or a divine right to win the league,

d) I've spent the last several days reading the newspapers - not to count Martin Tyler on Saturday - basically pinning a poor Everton performance and poor support at Goodison for their woes and this is utter garb.

e) Everton have had players cheat - or try to - in our time, verging from the great player to the embarrassment (Captain Pip against the RS springs to mind...), but for Suarez to win it would have been sickening, in fact that would have been a disgrace to football, not Jose Mourinho coming up with an effective game-plan...
 
A few things.. I reckon Suarez's reaction was fake, someone tried to pull his top down but he wouldn't let them because everyone would see his bone dry eyes. He was probably laughing and thanking his lucky stars that he now has an excuse to leave and join Madrid.

Liverpool are FINALLY showing what I've been saying all season, they simply aren't very good and are massively reliant on Suarez. Once he leaves in the summer they will struggle to make top 10.

Lastly, it could all go tits up! City lose or even draw to Villa then we're back where we started and City have a trickier last game than the RS. Even if they win the villa game...if it's level at half time against West Ham and the dark side are a few goals up the pressure will mount. Could've done with that Ince effort going in!
 

I still cannot get over this, makes me suspect that there really is a higher power the way this has all been scripted.

First Gerrard's war cry telling his soldiers that the title 'does not f***ing slip', then the slip by Gerrard himself, then that racist cheating scumbag balling his eyes out and finally, Gerrard instead of kissing the camera tries to wave it away.

To top it all off, if this wasn't enough to send me into hysterics the content being posted on Redcafe has sent into an uncontrollable giggling wreck.
 
If City win on Wednesday, I'm putting money on a Suarez red card on Sunday. Or at least something outrageous. You just know if their game against Newcastle isn't going that well, there's a chance he'll snap.

Mate, this was one of my most treasured friends favourite song, a Spurs fan, who perfectly understood what it was like to play second fiddle to the 'big' team on the block. He would have hated LFC winning the title as much as I would the Arse.

Couldn't agree more, he was laughing his head off, and was on the mobile to his agent activating his transfer to Real.
