I'm a Kenny fan and was against buying this lad, but he's better than I thought he'd be. A lot of question marks over him defensively but he has a hell of a cross on him when he gets in forward positions. Good option when we play 3 at the back.

I voted him man of the match...seriously

I know it's unfashionable to think so, and even though he's no Seamus... he has looked decent in most games.

But the first half last night he was the best player by a mile and very solid in the second half.

Thought he did well but the pitch didn't help him.

He looked a bit Bambi on ice for most of the 1st half.

Passing was a bit meh but they are all guilty of that.

He got involved and stuck to his task well but christ we miss Coleman

He's already proved himself a sound addition to the squad to fill in when needed, he's no seamus but he's not terrible either.

Not convinced some of these commentators in this thread have watched the same game I have.

Judging him as a temporary stand-in to a do a basic job, no complaints, when he gets far enough forward he can clearly put in a very decent cross.

However... he is never at full tilt, the constant stopping and foot-on-the-ball stuff is no good when the rest of the unit are looking to push up the pitch with speed.

That said I haven't seen us do anything with speed as a unit at all this season, including all the pre-season games, tactically we look very sluggish.

He wasn't that bad last night.

But he is pretty bad in general.

Not saying he is brilliant, but think he's alright for now.

Or Holgate helped to make the first goal , and marked Sane out of the game?
