Pog to annihilate all life on earth today? Or try and consolidate on shaky legs?

Not the stage for un jour sans, you'd lose hours. Bastille day so all eyes on Pinot but I'd fancy Bardet again to fly the flag - looked in very good condition yesterday.

Depends what was wrong with him I suppose. He gained 3 minutes on Vindegaard (and everyone else) on stage 8 last year so he has it in him. I suppose it depends on whether the other teams feel like they've stumbled on a formula now and look to work him over on the first two climbs.

Vingegaard lost 12 minutes in the Polish Tour two years ago. He doesn't like stress and pressure.

Still, his climb yesterday was so superb even a fully fit Pogacar wouldnt be able to do much about it.

Froome on the attack. Probably the nicest man I've ever met.
