Another protest at the tour today.
Firstly, whack em, put your back into it! had enough of this now.
What are we crying about petrol/oil for at a bike race? its the most eco friendly way of travel.
Hit em again!

Whats this now, 8 crashes in 3 miles. Madness.

Heat and exhaustion, Concentration loss, touching wheels.
They are complaining about the army of peripheral vehicles that go with the tour.

Vingegaard currently 1/2, Pog 2/1 for victory - who is your pick for yellow in Paris?

JV is looking sharp AF in the high mountains and has a tidy TT, I highly doubt his legs are going to fall off - his head, otoh, is unproven in this position. Pog is the GoaT is waiting, has done it all before - 2 and a half minutes is a lot but I think he will get it done. It'll be with it or on it for Pog, so either way it should make for some proper racing.

Today is rolling then two cat 1 climbs into the Pyrenees proper.

It's all unchartered territory for Vingegaard isn't it? He's only ever won one 2.1 stage race in his career to date so giving it the big one to Pogacar is a pretty new thing. Whether he can keep it going has to be pretty uncertain, even if he's making it look absurdly easy so far.

Away from the tour, did anyone's local roads melt yesterday in the UK? Can't remember seeing that here before - got two GP5000s coated with tar on my commuter.
Was one road in particular near me that had a new-ish surface - strips down it like it had been raining.
My usual training roads are bloody awful at the best of times. No idea what the heat might do to them.
